Powered by Google, myMail is the University's student and alumni email service. Visit hub.sxu.edu for more information on myMail by doing a search for myMail.

For students, Self-Service is the personal management tool used to search for classes, register for classes, make payments and check grades. For faculty, Self-Service is the management tool for grading, rosters, and reviewing student records.

You may keep your account after graduation.

No. Never respond to an inquiry that asks for your login information and password. If you receive an email that asks you to reveal your password, it is not legitimate regardless of how authentic it may appear.

Use the Report Spam button to let Google know if you received junk email or a spoofed message. Use the Report Phishing link to let Google know if you have received a phishing message. You will see a red warning message at the top of any emails that are suspected of referencing a phishing site. If you think that your myMail account has been compromised, contact the The Hub at 773-298-HELP (4357).

A netID (network identifier, or username) and password are automatically created for all newly registered students and sent to them by U.S. Mail. It is not necessary to fill out an account request form.

Students receive a netID consisting of their first and last initials followed by five digits (e.g., br99901). Be careful not to confuse the letter "l" and the number one, or the letter "o" and the number zero. Remember that the first two characters of your netID are letters and the last five characters are numbers.

You may use the to reset your password, or you can call The Hub at 773-298-HELP (4357).
